Los Angeles, CA – Blaze Fast-Fire’d Pizza will offer its version of garlic knots – Dough Knots – developed by its executive chef Bradford Kent using his signature dough recipe.

The new item is a modern twist on traditional breadsticks, Blaze said in a news release. Team members hand stretch the fresh dough, filling each piece with mozzarella, garlic and pesto before baking in the restaurant’s oven.

Each order is baked on the spot and served with a side of the chain’s red sauce for dipping.

Available at all 270-plus locations across the United States and Canada, Dough Knots come in orders of two or four and are priced at $1.95 US for two and $2.95 US for four, making for an inexpensive meal add-on, the company said.

In support of the product launch, Blaze is giving away more than two million of the new items to its fans. Customers who are enrolled in its loyalty programs through the mobile app or email will receive a reward for two free Dough Knots with the purchase of any pizza.

Blaze also is running a social media contest in which guests have the chance to win free Dough Knots for a year.
